Baked Garlic Dill Arctic Char

Wonderfully light dish that’s perfect for summer.

Baked Garlic Dill Arctic Char

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Artic Char filet
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh dill
  • 1 – 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 – 1 teaspoon kosher salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 lemon, quartered

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil. Place the Arctic char on the baking sheet with the skin side facing down.
  3. 3, Spray very lightly with olive oil spray.
  4. In a small bowl stir together the dill, garlic, salt and pepper.
  5. Rub on the top of the Arctic char (flesh side only). You want to distribute it as evenly as you can.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Cut into four pieces and serve with a lemon wedge.


My filet weighed less than a pound and was very thin. Consequently it was done in 12 minutes.
